20c from every Kuwi the Kiwi book purchased is donated to the Kiwis for kiwi charity.  So far we have raised over $50,000 from book sales to help with kiwi conservation projects throughout New Zealand.  

Every $100 raised is enough to protect a kiwi for a year.

Kiwis for kiwi has recently made Kat Quin an official ambassador. The commitment to raising funds for kiwi conservation was partly inspired by her father, a "conservation buff", who worked for the Wildlife Department (later the Department of Conservation) when she was a child.
